Harry Redfearn

Founder and President

Harry has worked in resort, private residential, and lifestyle-based planned community industries for nearly 40 years. His extensive background in senior management and consulting roles has been a valuable asset for many of the luxury developments in western North Carolina, including The Cliffs Communities and Balsam Mountain Preserve.

In 2005, Harry formed Private Mountain Communities—western North Carolina’s most comprehensive real estate resource and marketplace where buyers can streamline their search for the perfect property and sellers can promote their properties for sale to the PMC proprietary database of active buyers. The PMC Discovery Showroom located at the Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville showcases the premier properties and communities of western North Carolina.

Harry is actively involved in giving back to the greater Asheville community. He currently serves on the Eblen Charities’ Advisory Board and is a frequent speaker at the Southeast Land and Real Estate Conference, as well as the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement. On Harry’s days off he enjoys running, fitness training, golf, and boating.

Lori Philips

Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Lori attended and graduated from Florida State University. In 1998, she and her husband, Brian, decided to move to western North Carolina to raise their family. They chose western North Carolina because of the warm, friendly people, the four mild seasons, and better quality of life. As a child, her fondest memories are of summer family gatherings at Lake Toxaway. Their family now enjoys a ‘simpler’ way of life that includes tennis, boating, horseback riding, and hiking with their golden retriever.

With over twenty-five years of diversified sales experience, Lori’s customers benefit from her extensive knowledge of luxury real estate. Since 1999, she has specialized in private communities and luxury second homes in western North Carolina. As an Accredited Buyers Agent and Seller Representative Specialist, Lori finds it very gratifying to help families buy and sell properties in western North Carolina.
